Frequently asked questionsHow do I get music from my computer onto my phone?
Open talisentu on your computer, go to Import and open "Send music to another device". On your phone, open Import, tap "Get music from another device" and scan the code on your computer. Both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi. After the first time, syncing again is one tap.Can I choose which music goes onto my phone?
Yes. When you get music from your computer, talisentu shows your folders, albums and songs. Everything is ticked to begin with. Untick whatever you do not want. To change it later, open Import, tap your computer, then "Choose what to sync".My phone cannot find my computer.
Make sure both are on the same Wi-Fi network. Hotel, cafe and guest networks often block devices from seeing each other; a phone hotspot with both devices on it works instead. On iPhone, also check Settings > talisentu > Local Network is switched on.Where are my songs stored?
On iPhone, in the Files app under On My iPhone > talisentu. On Android, inside talisentu's own folder; a computer connected by cable can copy them out.Does deleting the app delete my music?
Yes, on a phone. Songs copied into talisentu live inside the app, so deleting it deletes them too. Keep your originals on your computer.How does the free trial work?
Everything is free for 7 days. On iPhone the 7 days start when you tap "Start the free trial"; on Android they start the first time you open the app. After that, talisentu is a single one-time purchase to keep listening. There is no subscription.I already bought talisentu. How do I get it back on a new phone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with, then open Settings > About > Restore an earlier purchase. You will not be charged again.How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, so refunds are too.

Effective September 28, 2026talisentu is made by Michael Schneider. This policy covers the talisentu app for iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.talisentu does not collect any personal information. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your music, playlists and settings stay on your own devices.Your music files, playlists, play history, settings and anything you add to the app stay on your device. They are never sent to us. We do not run any servers that store your information.talisentu works offline. It only connects to the internet in these cases:• Finding album covers. When you ask talisentu to find a missing cover, it sends the artist and album or song name to MusicBrainz, the Cover Art Archive and Apple's iTunes Search to look one up. No files, file names or information about you are sent. These services see the request like any other web request, including your IP address, and handle it under their own privacy policies.
• Checking the connection. To tell whether the internet is reachable, the app occasionally makes a simple connection to itunes.apple.com. Nothing about you or your music is sent.
• Updates on Windows and Mac. The desktop apps check about once a week whether a newer version has been published on GitHub. Nothing about you or your music is sent.When you send music from your computer to your phone, it travels directly between your own devices over your own Wi-Fi network. It does not pass through the internet or any server of ours. The connection is protected by a code that only your devices know.Permissions
• Camera: used only to scan the pairing code your computer shows. Nothing is recorded or saved.
• Local network: used only to find and connect to your own devices on your Wi-Fi.
• Photos: used only if you choose a picture, such as a background. The picture stays on your device.Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. They handle your payment details; talisentu never sees them.
